Football is the underlying background for this book, but the main issue is trust. Alison does not trust men because of her mother’s many marriages. She finds it hard to trust a man who doesn’t live next door to her.

However, if you are looking for a clean, sweet romance between a strong hero and a fragile heroine who has trust issues then you will love this book! Our hero is a professional football player who meets our heroine in a most unique and unusual way! He discovers during their first encounter that she hates football due to a personal family tragedy and decides to hide his occupation from her so he can get a chance to see where their initial attraction will lead. That’s all I’ll say about the plot! You’ll have to read it for yourself to see how this story develops!! I loved it and couldn’t put it down!
