I started a new series recently. There is always a lot of excitement and nerves with it though. Will my readers enjoy it as much as my other series? Will they understand where I’m going with this one as opposed to my other ones?

Most of my series revolves around family and friends. But in Paradise Place, it’s going to revolve around a location. A fictional development in Upstate NY. In the first book, Cupid’s Quest, we are introduced to realtor Ruby Gentile. She makes it her business to find people their forever home, and Paradise Place is all that and more. She will make an appearance in all the books along with a development summer party that will bring characters together too.

The next in the series is Change Up where we meet Kaelyn Butler, her grandparents started Paradise Place. (And there will be more books coming about her siblings and cousins)

The third book is Starting Over. A single father who finds love with the woman in the house behind him. And book four is Eternal, which is a coworker of the hero in Cupid’s Quest and the cousin of the heroine in Starting Over.

So you can see the pattern here. It’s friends, it’s neighbors, it’s family, and it’s a location all mixed into one.

I just finished the draft of the fifth book which is another Butler but the list is going to go on and on. There is no set end to this series like many of my others and that was my plan all along.

Will it be as successful as I hope? My fingers are crossed because so far I’m loving my time with these characters and interactions.
