Who’s ready for a Christmas giveaway?

As some of you know, this has been a very tough year for me, so I haven’t had an opportunity to say THANK YOU to my readers too often. Well, I just want you guys to know I’m grateful for your support, and I finally got around to organizing a giveaway on my Facebook page.
Unlike Santa, I don’t care if you’ve been nice or naughty! 🎅 😉
The gifts I put together for you include an e-book copy of my romance Lovestruck box set, an audiobook copy of my rom-com, Unabridged, and a $25 Amazon gift card!
The giveaway is only for Facebook users this time, and it’s very easy to enter. You will find it as a pinned post on my Facebook page, Melinda De Ross (click on the image below)
Winners will be announced on Christmas Eve, Saturday December 24th, on this page and in my newsletter. If you’re not subscribed to my monthly newsletter, I would love to have you there and you will receive a guaranteed surprise in your inbox if you subscribe: https://melindadeross.com/
Good luck everyone, and thank you again for being here. ❤️
Wishing you all blessed holidays! 🎄

Brownies In a Jar: Homemade Holiday Gifts by Donna Fasano @DonnaFaz

Brownies in a JarI love to give homemade gifts, and my friends and family seem to love receiving them. Pre-made Brownies in a Jar can be purchased for $12.99. However, you can make these yourself for a fraction of the cost. Here’s a how-to for Brownies in a Jar:

What you’ll need to make Brownies in a Jar:

2 1/4 cups sugar

2/3 cup cocoa powder

1 1/4 cups all purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup walnut pieces

1/3 cup chocolate chips

  1. Into a clean 1 quart mason jar, pour the sugar. Tap the jar lightly to compact. Pour in the cocoa and tap to compact. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Tap to compact. Lastly, add the nuts and chocolate chips. Screw on the lid.
  2. Attach the following instructions around the neck of the jar: Empty contents into a large bowl and stir all ingredients to combine. Add 3/4 cup of melted butter, 3 eggs, and 2 Tablespoons water to the bowl. Stir until all ingredients well incorporated. Do not over mix. Pour batter into a greased 13” x 9” pan. Bake in a pre-heated 350º oven for 30 minutes. Cool before cutting into squares.

Have you ever given homemade gifts? What have you given? I love to get new ideas!
