Make Believe

Sometimes people get tired of pretending they’re all right. Ever notice that?

If the person who’s the faker is me, I step away from negative quicksand and count my other blessings. But it ain’t always easy. I miss the love and fun me and my late husband had.

How lucky to have a creative side to fall back on, when my family isn’t around to provide an emotional lift or bothering a treasured friend seems cringe-worthy. Let’s face it. Having a job or hobby that brings you joy can clear the fog of unhappiness if it’s used. Cherish its existence and carry on.

If you’re seeking to find a way of achieving self-satisfaction or to step out of a personal prison, think about what would please you and bring it to someone else. Everyone has a hidden talent. This is how I view the process of writing a story. If I can make one person smile, or think about something else besides a personal problem, I feel fortunate indeed.

My Christmas story Double Lead is finished and is included in this wonderful collection

IRRESISTIBLE – UNEXPECTED CHRISTMAS releasing November 4th and ready for pre-order now: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BDVPXY3P

It’s the Most Magical Time of the Year…
And love might be right around the corner for these unattached couples when sweet, clever canines of all shapes and sizes come packaged as unexpected Christmas gifts.

Filled with hope, joy, and happily-ever-after, along with a lot of cuddly cuteness, you won’t be able to resist reading these EIGHT HOLIDAY ROMANCES featuring BRAND-NEW, NEVER BEFORE PUBLISHED steamy stories.

I have a new story releasing for pre-order this weekend, and I had fun writing it, too.

Sing Me a Soap Opera:

“There’s always more to relationships, between the starting gate of your dreams and the finish line of happiness. And sometimes the lucky ones even get a second chance.”

You’d never know it by the way Kendal Harper fights her destiny…

A publisher strong-arms a widowed fantasy author into writing a romance story about love with a co-worker and the conflicts that may arise, using a huge financial advancement as bait. After several failed attempts to complete her assignment, the author accepts a position as a practice manager at a physicians’ office where she learns this job does not support the necessary diagnosis to solve her problem either – until an attraction that’s likely to go nowhere grips her hard, fast, and maybe forever.

Just for fun with a lesson in human nature, The Charming Chameleon is on sale for Halloween:

When a playful, sensitive man delivers a pizza to a serious-minded young lady, will the old adage ‘opposites attract’ hold true and make believers out of such contrary people?

Pierre’s facial defects from a near-fatal accident are a far cry from the scars consuming his soul and leads him to conceal his true face from the world, but Aimee Josephs is about to change all that.

As karma intervenes and leads the way on the couple’s behalf, will Aimee’s feelings for Pierre be enough for him to reveal his true nature to the woman he’s fallen hard for? 99 Cents or FRR on Kindle Unlimited:
