The Unexpected

Happy New Year to you! I hope that your year is starting off well, but I have to say that mine is starting off a little unexpected. Right before Christmas, my husband and daughter started to get sick, and luckily, I didn’t get sick until Christmas.

Finding tests was difficult, but we found them and took tests to make sure that we didn’t have the virus. All of us were negative, multiple times, but there is a good chance that we all had the flu. I’m the lucky one that suffered a severe sinus infection on top of the flu, and I have gone through two courses of antibiotics with a possible third round in the near future. Not the sinus infection that I am used to, but that’s how things work. Just when you don’t expect it, the unexpected happens.

Now almost three weeks later, I’m still dealing with congestion and fatigue, and I have to admit that I’m quite over it, and ready to kick work into high gear. Sadly, with the headache and congestion, my creative side has decided to continue on its hiatus. Hopefully soon, it will decide it’s time to work again.

In the meantime, since we are talking about the Unexpected, I’m want to share that the final book in my Unexpected Series is out on Friday the 14th! The Unexpected Series is a steamy romance series where my alpha males and strong-willed females never know what to expect next.

The Unexpected Series is exclusive to Amazon and Free to Read on Kindle Unlimited.
