Where Did The Week Go?

My handsome son traveled from his home in New York State to help this old prune transfer data from her old computer to a new one – for those of you who’ve heard Mack the KnifeI, I had Mac the Dinosaur, and it had to go. My family and I had been careful about social distancing because of this:

Back to Mac the Dinosaur: The operating system was ancient, the new Word program not compatible, the browser not recognized by many sites I need to post on, regarding my writing, and the machine itself started doing these flashy things I knew for sure did not bode well. In an emotional frenzy I’d lose ten years of my life, I bought an external hard drive to begin storing a decade of docs, photos, etc. and, the new hard drive was NOT compatible with Mac the Dinosaur and became the last straw.

When I finally decided what to buy after searching sales, deals, etc., I opened my wallet and moths flew out, but that didn’t stop me. I’m the proud owner of a new Mac Aire, which I must admit is taking me a whole to get used to, as it’s a sensitive baby and if I don’t hold my hands just so while typing, I can erase good work.

Speaking of good work, let’s change this to GREAT New Stories:

  1. Congrats on the upcoming baby, and your new computer! I have a Mac Air, as well, and love it. For Word, I’m using the online monthly subscription. It’s $8.00 a month and they update the program as needed. Hope that helps 🙂
