My Weak Spot #Mgtab @Natalieann121

I’ve been asked by readers who my favorite characters are, or what I’m drawn to in a hero. The truth is, I never know how much I’m going to love my character until I’m done with the story.

I’ve got a weakness for serviceman/fire/police and single dads. Put them together and it will almost always be my favorite character/book in a series.

The All Series was my second series, the first book, All or Nothing was published four years ago. I’ve got so many favorites in that series but the last one I had published was All About You. Smoking hot single dad/fireman Finn Abraham. It wasn’t just his profession I was drawn to, but his character and his relationship with his four-year-old son. That book was released almost three years ago and I figured I was done with the series.

I figured wrong! I had introduced Finn’s friend, Landon, telling myself one day I’d go back and give him his own story. Well, I did. And I love it. It’s my new favorite of the series.

In All Of Us, police Captain Landon Barber thought he had the perfect life. He’d made something of himself, ran his own martial arts studio on the side, and could get a woman whenever he wanted one. Life was going pretty good. Until he got a call that his half-sister died and made him the guardian of his eight-year-old niece that he didn’t even know existed.

Watching Landon and Chloe maneuver through their new life together made me laugh, it made me cry, and it made me fall in love with his character. They had their ups and downs and with the help of Kristen Reid, they surely wouldn’t have gotten through some of the more trying little girl issues.

Check out All Of Us and I hope you fall in love with Landon just as much as I did writing him.

  1. I read a lot about authors plotting their novel. I have tried this in the past but I cannot keep to any plan. I have now given in and acknowledge I am a pantser. I might have an idea for a novel but that’s where it stands. Like any future reader I am excited to know what is coming next!! LOL.

    • I’m a total pantser, Katy! I have an idea for a series (general) and an idea (arc) for the story and then the characters just write themselves!
